Hi guys,

I was just wondering what key combination you press to find out what paragraph you're on in a document?

Thanks!

Jess.

to read the current paragraph, it's ctrl plus num pad 5.

Thanks, but how do you find out which one you're in?

I'm reliably informed that insert + f will read the attributes of the current line if that's any help.

Insert F tells you the size of your font and style of font as well as whether you are using bold or underline and if you are using aligned left, etc. But it doesn't tell you the number of that paragraph in your document.

I seriously doubt that there is a jaws command that will tell you which paragraph you are in. I did a quick check of the jaws help and the freedom scientific web site, but couldn't find anything like that.

Hi: Bob is right on this one. There is no way to tell how many paragraphs you've writen or which one your currently on.

Hey,

It's only a stopgap, but in word there is a status bar. if you press insert with page down while scrolling through a document, you will find that it tells you what line you are on etc. This should give you an idea of where you are in the document. I hope this helps.
Cheers, Ezzie.
